Los Antiguos Almacenes de los Inkas

I learned these structures in the mountains were built by the Inkas.  They are storehouses once used to keep dried meats and other foods for long periods. The mountain breezes moving past the snow-capped mountains and the mountain glaciers provided a cooling wind for the storehouses, like a natural refrigerator.
