Nubes

I learned that one of our destinations, Machu Picchu is located in a cloud forest. That means the forest is often inside the clouds or you can literally see the clouds climb up the mountain to surround the forest.  I learned that Machu Picchu gets about 90 inches of rain a year.  This was about two hours after that day's pouring rain had stopped.
